Gekås and the outside world

Here at Gekås we work hard to ensure that the products we sell are safe. We have chemicals requirements that our suppliers must meet. We take random samples to check that the requirements are being met.

CoC
This Code of Conduct is based on the general principles of the Universal Declaration of Human rights (1948), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966), the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966), the eight core ILO conventions and other relevant international human rights and labour regulations. The purpose of the Code is to jointly improve social and environmental standards. Gekås is therefore keen to work with its suppliers to meet the requirements of this Code.

Code of Conduct for Suppliers
We have combined all the requirements for our suppliers in our Code of Conduct for Suppliers. All suppliers that supply products to Gekås agree to comply with the requirements of the Code of Conduct for Suppliers. Amongst others, the COC contains requirements around ethical production, quality requirements, packaging, labelling, etc.

InspectionsGekås and the outside world
Our factories are regularly inspected by Gekås personnel. Gekås also uses local inspection companies that carry out audits in accordance with an agreed protocol. Long-term partnerships with suppliers are crucial to the achievement of ongoing improvements.
