If you need special equipment or assistance during your visit to Gekås, please let us know. Here are just a few of the facilities we can offer.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs, mobility scooters and wheelchair-adapted trolleys can be obtained from security staff at the exit or from Customer Services at the entrance to the store. (We have a limited number of wheelchairs, so, to be on the safe side, if you have your own wheelchair it’s best to bring it with you.)
Wide checkouts
Checkouts 8, 9, 19, 30, 48, 57 och 67 have wide aisles.
Lifts
Wheelchair access to floors 2 and 3 is by the lift next to the escalator in the toy department. There are also lifts by the up escalator to the Kidswear department and by the down escalator to the Hobby and Leisure department and the Horse and Pet Supplies department.
Toilets
Disabled toilets are located by Customer Services and after the checkouts, and on Floor 3. Toilets with ceiling hoists can be found in two locations within the superstore: at Customer Services (key to hand control and sling can be obtained from Customer Services) and on Floor 4 (key to hand control and sling can be obtained from the Cafe Bar).
Assistance dogs
Certified assistance dogs are welcome in our superstore. Just make yourself known to a Securitas security guard at the entrance or exit.
